Probably it was a mix up or someone trying to create mischief
Look like the printing machine did it. I bought some peanut brittle here and it showed two different expiry dates on them in separate places on the package. All the brittles were fresh. I figured the facttory realized the error and just ran the batch back through with the correct dates since they were already packaged.
Just take it back. Can be a honest mistake…….
