FLA MEMBERS GETTING DEATH THREATS

The Jamaica Constabulary Force says it has received credible reports about threats being issued against the lives of former Firearm Licensing Authority (FLA) Board Chairman Dennis Wright, CEO Shane Dalling and former acting CEO Lincoln Allen.

In a release Friday morning, the JCF said based on intelligence received on Thursday, the threat level against the lives of these individuals has increased.

The police say former Board Chairman Mr. Dennis Wright was advised about the threat level and was invited to the Ministry of National Security on Thursday.

He was removed to a secure location to provide additional safety measures and has since engaged private security to protect his life.

The police have also ramped up security measures to protect the lives of the others who were threatened.
