murder

A footballer was yesterday shot dead outside his home in Clarendon.

It has been reported that the deceased, 32-year-old Perry Alves of Palmer’s Cross in May Pen, was playing dominoes with friends when he received a text message about 8:25 pm and went outside.

His friends recall hearing explosions a few minutes later and summoned the police.

On the arrival of the lawmen, Alves was found lying in a pool of blood. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

  1. So this man got shot and it was only when the police showed up, that they discovered that he was actually shot and killed? His friends actually remained indoor for that whole duration–very odd?
