PORTLAND, Jamaica —A National Solid Waste Management Authority (NSWMA) garbage truck caused a scare for a Portland homeowner Saturday after it fell off a hillside into her yard and on top of a parked car at Black Hill in the parish.
OBSERVER ONLINE understands that the disabled truck was parked in the Black Hill Square perched on a slope as the driver went to seek assistance.
The truck reportedly slowly crept off the hillside and overturned into the yard narrowly missing the house.
A man, who was said to be inside the truck jumped out as it started move, however no one was reported injured in the incident.
