Acts 2:1–13:“And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language. And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born? Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes, Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God. And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this? Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.”

An Encounter that was both Literally and Figuratively Noteworthy!
On yesterday(06/29/13) while on my way to grocery shop, I decided to take a detour thru the projects where I usually Evangelize but only with the intent of just riding thru, however as I was passing thru, I saw a group of people holding hands in a circle and there just so happen to be a blended race of people in this circle. Black and White(beautiful scene to my eyes!). So me being who I iz lol, I turned my little honda around and pulled up and parked, and by this time they were disassembling from the circle. As I got out of the car, I noticed that this was an Evangelical mission carried out by 5 of my dearly beloved white brothers and sisters in Christ, and not only were they bringing spiritual food to those that they were previously gathered with, but they also had natural food(food in take out plates) that they were freely giving out!(Matthew 25:34-46) This brought great joy to my soul! *and no, even tho I looooove to eat, it wasn’t the food that made me happy this time*lol!
As they approached me, the first thing they asked was, would you like a plate, I said…… nah I’m good!, (Some of you thought I was gone say yes didn’t you lol) and I commended them in a few words on how awesome it was that they were out praying and ministering to the people! Now at this point, I had picked up in my spirit that they still hadn’t percieved that I was saved, and they asked me if I desired prayer, and I said SuURe!!
Prayer is always good!(at that point I could have said nah I don’t need prayer, I’m saved already etc, but the Holy Ghost had other plans), so we all held hands, and four out of the five of them(three females,& two males) each prayed for me individually one after the next! Now after my first sister prayed for me, they started to catch on that I was saved because of how I responded in prayer and because of how my sister who was next in line to pray begin to pray more effectively as it concerned me being a soldier for the Lord. Now not to long after my second sister was praying, my sister beside me who was holding my right hand started praying in tongues! Ooo my God! Y’all know I def got excited then! Lol and that was my signal to go ahead and pray in tongues too!
(I said that because people who are unlearned about the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and speaking/praying in tongues would have been offended and disturbed once they heard me pray in tongues, *I Corinthians 14:14-17* but this was not the case here!) So then after they heard me pray in tongues, errrrbody prayed in tongues as the Spirit gave us utterance and the Glory fell out there in the parking lot!(II Corinthians 3:17) HalleLuUjah! As she finished up the brother who was holding my left hand begin to pray, and he thanked God for the Anointing he discerned and felt upon my life and the Holy Ghost lead him in an effectual prayer as well! ThaNk YoU JeSuS! And last of all, I prayed for all 5 of my brothers and sisters, as a whole of course to finish us out, and again there was a melodious sound of tongues flowing from from our bellies!
Wheeeww.. Man…This was a ReaL Prayer meeting!(James 5:16) Prayer as God intended prayer to be! As we begin to come down in the spirit, and ended all prayer, my brother shouted YeSss!! We’ve had church out here! I said we sho nuff did! Lol And then I said maaann…. I like this…I’ve found some more Brothers and Sisters in Christ who believe in the Baptism of the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in tongues and ain’t ashamed to Pray in Tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance! And one of the sisters was like that’s right!! We have Freedom to worship God in Spirit and in truth! Haha! My Spirit was just a rejoycing! (Philippians 2:2) And I shoulda known they was Holy Ghost filled off gate, because you rarely find Christians out in the streets ministering, aNd NoT oNLy thaT, but they were my white Brothers and Sisters in the Projects where there’s predominately blacks! CoMe on Somebody!!
I’m soooo Glad God isn’t a respector of person!(Acts 10:34, Romans 2:11, James 2:8-10) We’re aLL equal in his Eyes, and the Holy Ghost who is the Anointing gives Power, Boldness and Guidance to all whom yield themselves as willing and obedient vessels, because He, the Anointing makes the difference! Glory to God! I thank God for my new found brothers and sisters in Christ! Ha! I felt like I’ve known them all my life! Y’all remember my status earlier this week which said real recognizes real!! Well this was a prime example! The Holy Ghost in me, beared witness with the Holy Ghost in them, being that even tho this was our first time meeting, he confirmed that they were true Anointed children of God and we easily all got on one accord just as this mornings Sunday Skool lesson(06/30/13) spoke about in Ezra 3:1! We were gathered together as OnE Man, One Body in Christ, with One Purpose!(Ephesians 4:4-6). Glory to God! I’m encouraged!
