The St Elizabeth police are reporting that the security guard implicated in the shooting death of Haile Clacken at Junction in the parish on June 23 has been formally charged.
He has been identified as 38-year-old Shawn Cole of a Manchester address. He has been charged with murder.
Cole is scheduled to appear in the St Elizabeth Parish Court on Thursday.
Clacken was reportedly shot dead after allegedly attacking a team of security guards about 6:20 pm, on Cheapside main road in the parish.
He jumped up on the brinks truck and when they stopped in front the bar he eventaully came off the truck and kneeled down in front of the truck and di bwoy still shoot di yute. The yute had no weapons or was a threat to any of them. He has mental issues that arises from time to time and is on medication but is a very smart guy that was a chapter away from finishing a book he is writing.
