I WILL WALK OUT OF THAT EVIL GRAVE- GOOD MORNING

The man who had died came forth, bound hand and foot with wrappings, and his face was wrapped around with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Unbind him, and let him go.” John 11:44

Two sisters were very worried when their brother fell ill, so, they sent for their family friend who was a healer in another town healing the sick and setting the captive free to come quickly and heal him but their friend was busy attending to other people who needed Him. The Healer was calm while He was away attending to others because He knew what was going to happen. He knew that the case of His friend, Lazarus, was meant to glorify God and also reveal Him as the Resurrection and the Light. Both sisters, Mary and Martha gave up when the Healer didn’t show up and their brother Lazarus died. So, they buried him and sat grieving and wondering why their friend (Jesus), couldn’t be there for them when they needed Him most.

But Jesus is never late. Jesus is always on time. You may, in your moment of trial feel like He has abandoned you. You may even think that He doesn’t hear your cry or feel your pain. Some in the secret silence of their hearts even wonder if Jesus can really do what He says because He hasn’t shown up since they began calling out to Him. Martha felt the same when the Lord told her that her brother will live again and so she agreed thinking the Healer was referring to life on the other side with God. But the Lord demonstrated what He meant by raising Lazarus from the dead. What is most significant about the whole scenario is what Jesus did at the door of the miracle of raising Lazarus back to life. The bible says: “Then Jesus raised His eyes, and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. “I knew that You always hear Me; but because of the people standing around I said it, so that they may believe that You sent Me.” When He had said these things, He cried out with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth.” (John 11 – KJV)

If you can thank God at the door of your miracle, you will surely see you miracle walk out of any evil grave it has been buried in the same way that Lazarus walked out of the grave. Thanksgiving is a powerful weapon that dismantle the devil!
