Lalu Prasad’s sense of humour appears to have rubbed off on his Rastriyas Janta Dal (RJD) which today tweeted a hilariously-captioned picture of a Union minister “inaugurating an irrigation project” in a most unusual fashion.
“Amid tight security, Union Agriculture Minister gives the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan a boost as he inaugurates an irrigation project in a drought-affected state,” says the RJD’s caption to the undated photo.
The catch? The photo actually shows BJP Union minister Radha Mohan Singh urinating (irrigating?) against a wall and doing so publicly in marked contravention of Prime Minister Naarendra Modi ‘s pet drive to rid the country of public urination and open defecation.
One of his more famous quips is: “Jab tak samosa mein rahega alu, Bihar mein rahega Lalu”.
RJD chief Lalu is well known for his sense of humour and his witticisms.
And here’s another one from him when he was told that Bollywood actress Hema Malini is a fan of his: “”If Hema Malini is my fan, then I am her air conditioner.”
