IS FAILURE REALLY FAILING FOR THE BELIEVER?
Is failure really failing for the Believers of Jesus Christ? I am convinced that “failure” for the Believer is not the same as the secular understanding or interpretation the world defines it as.
From a secular perspective to fail means to miss an assigned mark or goal or not meeting a certain qualification.
Failure for the believer means that there is something missing or whatever it is that we’ve considered being a failure is just part of a whole. Bottom line SOMETHING IS MISSING OR NOT COMPLETED!
Indulge me for a few minutes as I unveil the understanding of this mystery. Biblical spiritual law dictates the following, “And we know (The Believers) that all things (Good and Bad) work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” Romans 8:28
In order to understand this mystery of failure as it relates to the Believer, the key resides in the phrase of the above mention scripture, “ALL THINGS”. All things are a combination of good and bad. Of course as Christians we’ve been erroneously taught to assume that “all things” suggest only things that are good. So, in essence this scripture is saying that GOOD+BAD or BAD+GOOD either way will=GOOD FOR THE BELIEVER! In any scenario “all things” is suggesting that any number of things or any combination of things Must conclude in good for the believer.
Therefore, if what you’re currently experiencing does not equal good, THEN IT IS AN INDICATOR IT’S NOT THE END!
I want to say to someone this morning who feel or has felt as if you’re a failure or others has labeled you as a failure, the term failure for you is just a red flag SHOUTING………. That there is something missing, and in order for what you or others have concluded as a failure, the right connection must be attached to your “failure” which will eventually produce good for you!
To seal this mystery let’s look at another spiritual law, in an effort to bring this baby home……. “In everything (Good & bad) give thanks: for this is the WILL OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS CONCERNING YOU” 1 Thessalonians 5:18. In other words we must view the fortunate as well as the unfortunate experiences in our lives as a part of the overall plan of God to manufacture the end result of good for our lives.
So, as I have delicately revealed to you; failure is a good thing if we understand it from a biblical perspective which will always indicate that either something is missing or whatever we’ve supposedly “failed” at is not completed or it’s not the end of the matter……… But in any event good or bad we must thank God because not only is it his will for us at that particular time but it MUST CONCLUDE IN GOOD FOR US THE BELIEVERS OF JESUS CHRIST………..
For we know in part, and we prophesy in part, but when that which is perfect (complete) is come (full understanding) then that which was in part shall be done away with 1 Corinthians 13:9-10.
My people are failing because they are lacking available knowledge, Hosea 4:6……..
