WOMEN TRIED TO FLEECE HARROD OUT OF 10,000 POUNDS BY USING FAKE CREDIT CARD

An aspiring actress took part in a scheme to fleece Harrods out of thousands of pounds using a fake credit card, a court heard today.
Kyomi Moncrieffe, 23, and her two sisters Kyeisha and Kacey allegedly used a phoney card to buy gift cards worth more than £10,000 at the world famous Knightsbridge store.
She appeared at Hammersmith Magistrates’ Court today wearing a hot pink diamanté velour tracksuit charged with one count of conspiracy to commit fraud by false representation.
The amateur model spoke only to confirm her name, age and address.
Prosecuting, Narinder Behal said the sisters were spotted on CCTV touring the store and swapping credit cards to pay for luxury goods before returning them for cash refunds.
A police search of a vehicle linked to the alleged fraud found ‘high value items and gift cards involved in this case.’
Ms Moncrieffe was bailed to attend Southwark Crown Court on April 19.
Her sisters Kyeisha and Kacey Moncrieffe are due to appear separately at Isleworth Crown Court on March 17 but it is likely the cases will now be linked.
In an online profile, Kyomi describes herself as an aspiring model, musician and actor.
In her modelling biography, she states: ‘I once realised u can only see a shooting star if u pay close attention to the sky.

‘When I finally paid attention to me I realised I was fabulous and I was a star waiting to shoot off to make my dreams simultaneous.
‘I’m ready to be heard, and I’m giving my all so you can listen.’
Moncrieffe, of Handsworth, Birmingham, faces one charge of conspiracy to commit fraud by false representation.
