Jesus Is Lord of All
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:10 – 11
As human beings we tend to classify and categorize our experiences in life. The experiences that we felt in control while we went through them are considered easy and normal. Those experiences that we went through or are still going through, that are out of our control are considered tough and often times impossible because we don’t know how to deal with them.
This same attitude defines our spiritual journey. We are joyful about spiritual things that we feel anointed enough to subdue and control. But the things that challenge our faith and resist our control are considered impossible situations that only God can decide if they will be made possible or not. We fail to recognize the fact that the little we could deal with was possible to deal with by the grace of Christ who lives in us and enables us to do all things. Why don’t you hand over that seemingly impossible situation to the one who conquered all things great and small? Jesus is Lord of all because He overcame all things. The battle for survival and victory in this perilous world has never been yours but the Lord’s. The Lordship of Jesus Christ is a spiritual reign that exerts His authority in both natural and spiritual circumstances. Don’t be intimidated by that terminal disease, Jesus is Lord of over it. Tell that strong man in your bloodline that Jesus is Lord of all and that at the mention of His name every knee must bow and every tongue confess that He is the Lord to the glory of God the father. Amen!
