My cousin’s bike was stolen on May 23rd at Boulevard Shopping Plaza in Kingston by a group of men who responded to his advertisement on fb.They pretended to be armed police officers and tried to force my cousin in car they were driving (probox).My cousin escape and they stole the bike. We did some investigation and found the top culprit but sad to say that there are others working with him. I’m making this post to inform the public about this thief and to report him to the police if seen. He goes by the name Shane Brown ( Evafrasskid ) and Chaser Brown on Fb. He pretends to sell or buy items on fb using various markets and then sets u up to be robbed or killed. After stealing my cousins bike, days later he posted it for sale using his page Chaser Brown in the group on fb ‘cheap phone n things for sale’. He also posts on Blackberry Market Jamaica and BlackMarket Blackberry. He changed up the bike fairings to make it look different but my cousin’s bike has some scratches so we could tell the difference on the pics he posted. I sent convos of him trying to buy my cuz bike before he stole it and also when he’s trying to sell the same bike on fb.
Lesson learn. If you are going selling any item (including iPhones), meet at a police station and talk to the police about the pending transaction. If the buyer wants to meet somewhere else (never at your home), that is a tip off that they plan to rob you of the item. I hope your brother report the crime to the police.
