KINGSTON, Jamaica – A man died yesterday after another man used a 25-pound gas cylinder to hit him in the head.
He is Cedric Maxwell, 27, of an address in Spanish Town, St Catherine.
Reports are that Maxwell was standing on the roadway in White Lane, Olympic Gardens, St Andrew, with a relative when they were approached by two men.
A dispute reportedly developed and one of the men used the cylinder to hit Maxwell before fleeing. There are no reports of his relative being injured.
Maxwell was pronounced dead at hospital.
The police say investigations are ongoing.
They should really look into creating more jobs on the Island of Jamaica…..GROWN ASS people should not have this much time on there hands!
It’s not about lack of employment. Conflict and dispute resolution has not seen widespread adoption. Some people are just socially irresponsible and tend to forget that certain behaviors are unacceptable. Furthermore, Police officers are overworked and the justice system is overburdened.
I agree with u. More Jobs need to be provided. Then less time will be on their hands and money will be making to take them out of proverty
