Good evening. HMID. I would like to hear your opinion and your followers opinion if I am settling for less now that I am currently unemployed. My boyfriend earns over $80,000 every fortnight but only gives me $5500(which I use to pay my internet bill. Light bill only comes to the maximum $3000 and water bill $1500. When his fare and bills ,tax etc comes out of his pay,he has $65000 left. I’ve only been unemployed for a couple of weeks. I had little savings which Was used in aid Of grocery shopping for both of us over the period of time and to purchase some of the stuffs that I need to start my own business. These have now left me in bankruptcy. He said he’d only purchase grocery for me if I’m staying by his place so yes call me yamhead, I’m staying at his place. Now I ask him if he could give me little pocket money on the $5500 so that when I pay the internet bill I have it left to buy a sweetie or suh. Him tell mi straight point blank NO. And now I don’t know how to feel about it😞.
Lack of equipments caused the business to fail,and not even to help me purchase something towards it he wouldn’t do. When I was in a job,I would make him up on anything,any trip,date,grocery,you name it etc but now it’s like he wants me to kiss his ass for him to even buy few snacks for us to munch on if mi nuh feel like cook rice or flour smh. Then he speaks about us having a child and how I must move in with him. It probably would be worst😭. I feel like going back to my house and stay ☹️. The failed business have me in a form of depression tbh worst how I don’t have any solid financial support . Not even emotional support him nuh give. I pray to God everyday to let me get a job again soon soon so I don’t have to kiss this man’s ass. Mi never know a suh it feel fi deh pon yuh face aswear 😔😔😔. My siblings use the internet in my yard,that’s why I don’t cut it off and take that money as pocket money. I hope you guys understand on my part.

It sounds like the man is helping you out by providing a roof over your head and $11, 000 dollars a month, how you spend it is your problem..you want the man to pay you for being unemployed? Unlike water and electricity, internet service is not a necessity unless you are running an online business, trading stocks, currencies, or commodities. Use the $5,500.00 you’d pay the isp to start a savings account or a trading account. I can’t blame your boyfriend for acting responsible with his money because if he loses his job tomorrow where will he be? Stop counting his money. Focus on finding another job. He sound like a responsible man. Getting pregnant right now will only make the situation worse. Find a job to be able to support your lifestyle.
