Mackerel, take my advice and focus on your talent. Do Not follow Marvin and the dancehall crew. The players change but the dancehall game stays the same. Those dancehall crowd is all about partying, showing off their stolen clothes and sleeping on floor, stealing, bleaching white, fighting over man and taking each other man, sharing baby daddys, Drinking, smoking, posing with liquor bottle and the newest is getting their body done.
Take a look at all the older generation dancehall partiers and see their lives. A large number of them are either deported back to Jamaica or have criminal record for theft and or, they are still illegal in the country after decades of not having a settled life and a life long partner who can legitimately help them.
Also, dont look at what they show you or what they say. If you go to their homes (life after the party world) and see what their older days are like. The older men are broke and living in women houses while they can’t even talk too hard and the older women are paying young men to sleep with them. All of the dancehall people end up the same way. If 1 percent make it to betterment in their old days, they are lucky. Stay clear of them and their superficial hype.
