The two men arrested last week in connection with a drug bust in Manchester were each offered $1 million bail on Thursday when they appeared before the Manchester Parish Court. Kevin Morgan and Damion Barrington Barrett are to return to court on July 24. Mr. Morgan and Mr. Barrett were charged after narcotics police intercepted a truck along the Spur Tree main road and seized 3,000 pounds of ganja, valued at $12 million. During Thursday’s bail hearing, Mr. Morgan’s attorney, Shauna Kay Mitchell, argued that her client was hired to deliver goods and had no knowledge of the illicit drugs in the truck.
