The police have made another major gun find on the wharves.
Nineteen illegal guns and hundreds of assorted rounds of ammunition were seized at a Berth Eleven warehouse at Newport West last night.
The weapons, including six high powered rifles and 13 handguns, were seized in a shipment from the United States. The guns were found hidden in two freezers.
Up to late last night, the police were searching for a suspect in connection with the seizure. Police Commissioner George Quallo and Deputy Commissioner in charge of Crime, Selvine Haye, visited the warehouse last night.
All these guns coming from the devil’s island USA…

A REALLY STUPID comment. The “USA” doesn’t shipped guns to Jamaica, but Jamaicans do. Stop shifting the blame. The thugs living in the USA (most likely, illegally) are the ones shipping these guns back to the island to fight their (former) enemies. They are involved in the drug business in the USA and using some of the proceeds to buy guns and ship them back to their cronies in Jamaica.

The USA gun culture is spreading, there are no decent gun control policies in that country… USA make guns, Jamaicans don’t. ..A few countries make guns which are easily accessible to the public and which can leave the country undetected…
