St. Ann woman, son charged with illegal gun, ammo possession
A St. Ann woman and her son have been charged in connection with the seizure of a firearm and several rounds of ammunition in Mansfield Heights in the parish on Wednesday.
Sales clerk Angella Edwards, 56, and Texroy Walker, 30, both of Mansfield Heights, have been charged with illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.
About 6:15 a.m., the police carried out an operation in the area during which a house was searched.
A pistol and twelve rounds of ammunition were reportedly found under the kitchen counter.
