NOT EVEN DI DEAD CAN REST IN PEACE…1200 ROUNDS FOUND IN CALVARY CEMETERY

More than 1200 assorted rounds of ammunition were seized Wednesday morning at Calvary Cemetery on Lyndhurst Road in St. Andrew.

Nobody was arrested in connection with the find.

Inspector Marcia Blake of the Denham Town Police told RJR News the operation took place about 6 o’clock, when, during a routine visit to the cemetery, the police observed three men who ran.

In their haste, the men reportedly dropped a bag. Upon being searched, it was discovered that the bag contained 1,272 bullets.
