ationwide News understands criminal charges have been laid on the son of former National Security Minister, Peter Bunting – Brent Bunting and a music producer, Anju Blaxx
The charges are in connection with a physical altercation between both men last Friday night at a location in Upper St. Andrew.
37-year-old Anju Blaxx, whose given name is Andrew Myrie, has been charged with wounding with intent, while 27-year-old Brent Bunting, who’s a businessman, has been charged with unlawful wounding.
Police reports are that family members of Anju Blaxx were having a surprise birthday party for him and shortly after his arrival there was a knock at the door. Blaxx reportedly went to the door to see what was happening.
Brent Bunting is accused of complaining the music was too loud. A fight ensued which resulted in Bunting receiving a fractured jaw and Anju Blaxx receiving injuries to his face.
Blaxx was taken to the Constant Spring Police Station where he was charged with wounding with intent. While Brent Bunting was charged with unlawful wounding.
