The Manchester police have arrested a suspected serial rapist.
The man was held on the weekend during a police operation.
Senior Superintendent Wayne Cameron, head of the Manchester Police Division, said the police have been tracking the man for several months.
At least 27 cases of rape have been reported in Manchester since the start of the year and the police believe he may be connected to several of the cases.
