KINGSTON, Jamaica – OBSERVER ONLINE has just been informed that a policeman attached to the Kingston Central Police Station was shot in the head a short while ago. The policeman is now in hospital and has been classified as being in serious condition.
According to the callers a security guard was killed by the same gunmen who shot and wounded the policeman . When checks were made, the police confirmed the incident which led to the shooting of the policeman and the murder of the security guard. No details were however given about the incident.
But it is understood that the incident involved a motor vehicle chase from the Fletcher’s Land area of downtown Kingston which ended in the Police South St Andrew Division.
