The father of reggae singer Tarrus Riley died in the wee hours this morning at a hospital in Bronx, New York. Music News understands that Jimmy Riley died around minutes after four this morning following a long battle with cancer.
Jimmy Riley was 61 years old.
He was best known for songs such as the 80’s hit “It’s too hot”, “Black Mother Prays” and a cover of Jimmy Cliff’s “Love and Devotion” among countless others.
