A Queens girl who became First Lady of the United States and implored a generation of young Americans to “Just Say No” to drugs — died Sunday of congestive heart failure.
She was 94.
The former Hollywood starlet passed away in the Bel Air home she’d shared with her late husband, Ronald Reagan.
She will be buried next to the conservative icon at his Presidential Library in Simi Valley, Calif.
TIMELINE: NANCY REAGA
I was shocked to hear that she passed away today as I thought that she was already dead. This is my second time making that mistake. I honestly thought that she was already dead. May her soul rest in peace.
She really is to be commended for taking care of President Reagan during all the stages of his Alzheimers disease.
She is a super woman.
for real.
The president had Alzheimer’s disease while in office and she was very adept (along with the White House) in shielding him. She was basically making a lot of major decisions for him.
