– “RESIDUAL BATTLES: DIE WITH YOUR OWNERS!”
BIBLE STUDY FOR TODAY: ACTS CORINTHIANS CHAPTER 3: verse 1-23.
There is a dimension of warfare that spills over into peace-time and may even consume the innocent. The Bible calls it an affliction that arose a second time in Nahum 1:7-9:“The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies. What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.” Few days ago, I got news that a neighbour, a peace-loving and God-loving woman, she died in a ghastly motor accident, and my first thought was “Why January?”. This new year, many people prayed to bury their sorrows and pains with last year and start the new year on a new slate. Its so bad opening a new year with such tragic pain, but then, that is the evil work of residual battles resuscitated by stubborn pursuers. Having failed to catch up with her last year, those powers refused to close her case-file but carried-over the residue of last year’s battle into the new year in order to waste that precious soul in the first month of a new year, that is why I said at the beginning of this programme that January is not a spiritual holiday, January is your month of PASSOVER BATTLE! Those residue of unfinished battle of last year must be aborted and prevented from being resurrected by the enemy of your souls. With fury in your heart, and anger in your voice take this prayer point with me: Every power planning to re-open a diary of tragedy for me this new year: you are a liar! carry your evil load with your own head! in the name of Jesus.
As a covenant child of God, you have the covenant right to terminate or abort the resurrection of affliction in your life. You can lay hold of such covenant weapon like the overunning flood to pursue the enemies of your breakthroughs this year.
CONFESS AND MEDITATE ON THESE SCRIPTURES:
Ezekiel 21:5:“Thus all flesh will know that I, the LORD, have drawn My sword out of its sheath. It will not return to its sheath again.”
Jeremiah 23:20:“The anger of the LORD will not turn back Until He has performed and carried out the purposes of His heart; In the last days you will clearly understand it.”
Jeremiah 51:64:“and say, ‘Thus shall Babylon sink, to rise no more, because of the disaster that I am bringing upon her, and they shall become exhausted.’ Thus far are the words of Jeremiah.”
Proverbs 18:10:“The name of the LORD is a fortified tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe.”
Proverbs 14:19:“The evil will bow down before the good, And the wicked at the gates of the righteous.”
After the praise and worship session, go with your prophetic sword into battle using these 14 prayer points for DAY 6. Pray it at midnight and midday. Couple it with the prescribed fast, I know by the assurance of faith in the awesome power of God that never faileth, He will answer us by Fire! in the name of Jesus. Every evil power that battled my parents and is now battling me, I unleash the blood of Jesus against you, passover my destiny by fire! in Jesus’ name.
Army of Babylon laying a siege against me this year: I command you in the name of Jesus to crumble with your siege and rise no more!
You the armies and commanders of residual battles waging relentless war against my joy, be consumed and be wasted with your battles in the name of Jesus.
Every residue of defeated foes fanning the embers of revival of warfare against my family and destiny this new year: be disgraced! perish by fire and rise no more! in the name of Jesus.
Every case-file of failure, divination and enchantment that were opened against me last year, and the enemy wants to re-package for me this year: CATCH FIRE AND BURN TO ASHES NOW! in Jesus’ name.
By the blood of Jesus, I silence every raging avenger and foe of my joy and testimonies this year!
O God arise with Your Vengeance and devour the stubborn avenger assigned against me this year! in the name of Jesus.
Every enemy of righteousness that is bent on revenge against me and my family this year, hear the verdict of fire: you shall be wasted by the vengeance of the Lord! in the name of Jesus.
I declare this year as my season of STRONG TOWER over my family, we take refuge in the name of the Lord, let every stubborn pursuer perish at the gate of the righteous! in the name of Jesus.
JESUS! MY STRONG TOWER! Appear at every trouble spot designed by the enemy for me and my family this year! in the name of Jesus.
You the armies of Pharaoh that have sworn not to let me go this year: Perish utterly with your king in battle! in the name of Jesus.
Every re-grouping and reinforcement of defeated foes against my destiny this year, scatter unto desolation in the name of Jesus.
