Hi Pinky…..HMID….I’ve been reading a lot of post about STDs….here’s my story I recently found out I am HIV positive I am 28 years old, no kids, a nice job an a very attractive young lady….did I have this to myself? No. The man I trust and loved chose to sleep with other persons unprotected and here I am stuck, lost, confuse, depress with this uncurable disease for the rest of my life…I hate him. I wanted to kill him so bad. But I trust and believe in the man above for he never give u more than you can bare. I believe this is a testimony, God have something in store for me. The fact that I woke up this morning there’s hope. It’s been 3weeks since I found out. I haven’t shed 1 tear. Is like am numb. I have no feelings am feeling nothing inside am still in shock! I pray and pray….if don’t ask god why me. I ask what is this teaching me….i haven’t tell a single soul. Am just in my brain everyday thinking. Am depressed. And u kno what I haven’t heard from him since.
I still managed to go to work but deep down my mind is not there. My co-workers and family member knew something is wrong but I can’t tell them I jus wanna die right now. But the man above is keeping me alive….I pray for peace for i cannot change the situation. How am I going to live a normal life? Is anybody gonna love and accept me to even start a family with me? I’ve done some research on the virus and once I stay on meds it becomes undetectable where I can’t pass it to my partner or unborn child if I should get pregnant. But dream I can’t tell anyone….I will not have sex with anyone knowing I have HIV. This is crazy. I am hurt beyond words I have no tears. Is like am dead inside. My doctor told me I can’t carry this alone I have to confide in someone. But who? Who pinky? I need yall prayers Cuz only God knows how long I can take this. Sign: Depressed girl.

wow, i read this and i really hope you will get through. it is so sad when a woman is faithful and them partner go have unprotected sex with someone outside, boy oh boy. that is why some a uno men dead bad or crosses tek uno because uno selfish man. Girl you can live a normal life, i watch a lot of shows that tell person how they can survive it. 1. take your meds everyday, 2. if there is a group you can join it, depends on your immune system you can actually have a child and he or she wont be infected. so you can read up and even join groups that are not in jamaica and talk to them online. Girl you will be a walking testimony, keep the faith please and dont give up.
You are not obligated to tell anyone except for the person who you may sleep with in the future. Maybe you should find a therapist to speak with instead of telling the wrong friend or family member. HIV is not a death sentence. Take your medication and try a vegan lifestyle. This is a test that you will pass. Keeping praying for strength wisdom and guidance. I wish you the best.

Baby stay strong, sometimes the worst things happens to the best of us. I cant even fathom how you may be feeling. But all I can tell you is pray. Stay healthy and take your meds… it is not the end of the road for you. I am so sorry this happened to you. Just keep your head up baby girl.

Some friends and family members can not be trusted but I’m hoping that you have some loyal and trustworthy people around you. You got this! You will live out your days Hun. Only cancer is a death sentence. I don’t know any mix status couples personally buy I know they exist. Work on yourself career etc and you can always adopt a child. I am so proud of you bcus you are being strong and this mountain you are climbing that you just shared here will probably push others to get tested.

Young lady im sorry to hear that you have HIV but u are not alone.
Just keep on praying to God.
Seek the proper care and if you do find SOMEONE you are interest in let them know you are HIV positive and if they are for you they will stay.
God dont GIVE us more that we can manage.
Keep all your hopes up you will feel better soon just educate your self to the fullest about this disease and try to meet other people who have this disease and try to work with each other.
