Saloman Smith, Principal of Brown’s Town Primary School, who was charged on Tuesday with indecent assault of a male student, was granted bail Wednesday when he appeared before the St. Ann’s Bay Parish Court.
As a condition of bail, Mr. Smith should have no contact with the complainant or witnesses.
He was also ordered to provide his fingerprints to the police.
Mr. Smith will return to court on September 18 when the matter will again be mentioned.
It was reported that the boy’s parents made a report to the police following an incident earlier this year.
