STAB WOUND KILLED EYE DOCTOR

An autopsy performed on Friday on the body of medical doctor Sonya Kay Forbes revealed that she died of a stab wound to the abdomen.

The 40 year old doctor was found dead at her home on Cunningham Avenue, St. Andrew, last week Thursday.

Investigators have declined to state whether the wound was self-inflicted.

A senior investigator told RJR News that the probe is leaning towards a certain conclusion but the police are not yet prepared to reveal their findings.

The cops have ruled out forced entry to the house.

Dr. Forbes, who was a contestant in the Miss Jamaica World contest in 1999, was a eye specialist at the Kingston Public Hospital.
