Shayne Welch, a Bajan police officer who was accused of rape and buggery of a young lady preciously. On March 26, a woman (name withheld) while being interviews said while having sex with Welch the night before, he beat her and also buggered her. Then hours later, her husband came and caught her in Welch’s bed, her lips were bruised and the condom was left in full view.
In the matter before , when Mr Welch went to court, he was allowed to walk through the back door so that the media couldn’t see him. He was protected by the queen’s police in Barbados.
