A McBean, Couva, teacher is still missing after he was abducted from his school this morning.
Keston Mahabir, 28, was taken from his remedial school by three men.
Reports state the masked men walked into the school about 11.50 am, took the man and placed him into a car before driving off.
Two women, reportedly from the Ministry of Education, were said to be int he school at the time but left before the police arrived.
Police on patrol are said to have intercepted the car in California and the three occupants are assisting with investigations.
Mahabir, however, is still missig.
