Three people were a short while ago shot dead and another shot and injured in the Meggie Top community of Salt Spring, St James.
The police confirmed Tuesday that the four were shot about 11:30 pm.
The injured individual is said to be in serious condition.
According to a news release from the Corporate Communications Unit, there is now a strong police presence in the area as investigators comb the crime scene for clues.
