Prosecutors to wrap up murder case against “Titty-man” next week
Prosecutors are expected to close their case next week at the murder trial of Michael Scott, a gang leader of African Gardens in August Town.
Mr. Scott. also known as “Titty-man”, is on trial for the murder of Police Constable James Grant.
Constable Grant was shot dead on September 22, 2014, during a shootout between the police and gunmen in African Gardens.
Prosecutors accused Mr. Scott of leading heavily armed men who engaged the police in the gun battle.
Constable Grant died after being shot in the head.
Crime scene investigators, a ballistics expert and members of the police party involved in the incident, gave testimony on Thursday.
The trial resumes on Monday.
