Latoya will be laid to rest today..in a well deserved splendor ……..glass and like a queen. It is hard for me as I have said before, hard to hear her music and see her pictures because it brings me to a reality I am not ready to face quite yet but I wanted to share something small with you about her today.
She fought to stay alive and fought hard, after being in and out of intensive care so many times and not being able to function half of what she was used to , she fought. He spirit was never bitter. She knew she was fighting and had to fight. I was told that a few days before she died she said the reason she was fighting to stay alive was for her son but didn’t live to see him for mother’s day, that is painful.
During that same week she had dreams of being in a better place and that Thursday God took her peaceful and in splendor. She wasn’t fighting, her spirit slipped away while she slept she wasn’t traumatized, she was already gone when they discovered she wasn’t breathing, too far away to come back. Her spirit told me that she will be beautiful today, smiling because she is at peace.

RIP beautiful one. May your spirit guide your precious son to greatness. Your time on earth was short, but you’ve left an everlasting impression which will forever be evoked.

I believe it. She is at rest. The body nor the spirit belongs to man, all belongs to God. The world belongs to God and everything in we, we are simply only tenants until our lease is up.
I know her mother will be a complete mother to her son, and he will know a mother’s love through her.
Smh, this is so sad! I am so sorry it had to go/end this way. Such a YOUNG, beautiful girl! Life can seem so unfair at times. Smh, Again I extend my condolences, as I sympathize and empathize with the family, friends and loved ones of Latoya. I trust and pray that her son will be cloaked in the sweet, soothing bosom of our Mighty God. Shani, a thousand words could never soothe your pain, and all I’ll say is, in time we’ll understand….TIME IS THE MASTER/HEALER! RIP PRECIOUS! Sad it ended this way, but happy your suffering is over.
