Following an altercation with his girlfriend, a UK tourist was on Friday admitted at the Falmouth Public General Hospital where he is being treated for what the police believe are self-inflected knife wounds.
According to the Trelawny police, an argument developed between the couple, after which the female partner headed back to her UK home.
Subsequently, the male partner, said to be about 28 years old, was discovered in his room by a worker in a pool of blood and with multiple knife wounds.
He was then taken to hospital where he was admitted in a critical, but stable condition.
The Falmouth police are investigating.
