Sections of August Town in St. Andrew are tense after a woman was fatally shot Wednesday afternoon.
It’s reported that the woman was killed during a shootout involving the security forces and gunmen on August Town Road, shortly after 2 o’clock.
Residents reported that the woman had a disability.

Cant believe smh glad when my mother left August town when I was a child. She always said if she didn’t badman would send for me and rape me like that did my other schoolmates back then. Most of them ended up with badman. To this day i tell myself that I could never grow my two girls in a ghetto hell no. My mother took us out I would never go bk to one.

Thank you the she was a single mother in all fairness she had my brother and I was the oldest, she did have my stepdad years later who came and made a huge difference too helped us alot took care of us. He helped her to move from August town he rent the house we lived in portmore etc. Eventually she had my little brother a few years after. Best man I have ever known to this day. RiP uncle Byron ❤
