WTF AFRICA- HUSBAND SEH WIFE SEH WID DI NEIGHBOR

My wife sleeps with our neighbour, man tells court

husbandA divorce-seeking husband, Mr. Adeola Ademowo has pleaded with an Agege Customary Court in Lagos State to end his 15-year-old marriage over his wife’s promiscuity and lack of care.

According to the petitioner, all love was lost between him and his estranged wife, Ajoke.

“Her lifestyle is questionable. She is not straightforward. How can I live with a woman who I don’t know her ways?”

He told the court that he was no longer interested in the marriage which had produced three children.

“My wife flirts with different men in our neighbourhood. I warned her to desist from such act but refused until l caught her sleeping with one of our neighbours right in his room.’’

“When I confronted her, she claimed that she went to the room to borrow scissors. I told her to untie her wrapper but she refused. When I forcefully removed it, she was not wearing any underwear.

“Even with the revelation, my wife never stopped her immoral ways. She kept conversing with the same man and even sneaked into his room in the middle of the night.

“I can no longer cope with her philandering ways. I want peace of mind, so I am asking this court to dissolve our marriage.”

Ademowo asked for custody of their children, urging the court to dissolve their marriage without further delay.

“She does not take proper care of the children and I am seeking immediate dissolution of the marriage,” he stated.

Ajoke however denied the allegations saying that her husband wanted her out of the house so that he can bring in a new wife.

“I have viable information that my husband wants to remarry that’s why he wants me out of his life. All the allegations he leveled against me are lies. I can swear on the lives of my children that I am not adulterous,” she said, asking the court to save her marriage.

The case was adjourned till July 7 for continuation of trial and possible reconciliation.
