WHILE the daughter accuses her mother of stealing her boyfriends, the mum says her daughter is a satanist.
Revonia Mooketsi is a 38-year-old corporal in the SANDF who lives in Ganspan, near Jan Kempdorp, Northern Cape, South Africa.
She’s also the mother of Vanessa Mooketsi (20).
“Vanessa once confessed she was instructed to kill me so she could become a member of the satanist group,” said Revonia.
“She has been acting strangely since last year and told me to paint her room black.”
Revonia transferred from Joburg to deal with the situation. Vanessa has an eight-month-old baby and is in Grade 11 at an agricultural high school in Jan Kempdorp.
Vanessa told DailySun that she doesn’t practise satanism.
“The real problem is that my mother is dating Ben 10s. She accuses me of stealing her boyfriends but she is the one who steals from me,” said Vanessa.
“Two guys proposed to me but I refused to have sex with them. The next thing they arrived at our house and were introduced as my mother’s boyfriends.”
Vanessa said she tried to warn her mother about the young men but was kicked out of the house.
“She accused me of sleeping with one of the men. She said she saw our WhatsApp conversations,” said Vanessa.
Northern Cape education spokesman Ohentse Stander confirmed that the Mooketsi family has problems.
“Vanessa told a teacher last year she was under a spell that made her push people around and hurt them. The school reported the matter to her mother,” said Stander.
He said education support services sent a doctor to the school. Vanessa then left school to give birth and came back this year.
Stander said there are domestic issues that hamper the department’s support process. He advised the principal to refer the Mooketsi case to social workers.
Revonia has obtained a protection order against her daughter at Jan Kempdorp Police Station.
