A four year old Hwange girl was raped by a 12 year old after he watched pornographic material from the neighbours.
She was raped in the presence of her younger brother.
The court heard that the boy was in a habit of watching pornographic material in the absence of his parents.
Both his parents spend most of the time away form home.
His father, an ex-soldier, is always away from home and his mother spends most of her time outside the country as a cross border trader.
The boy had pleaded guilty to one count of rape.
According to state prosecutor, Tomupei Mbiza the girl was left by her mother at the boys house.
“On September 16 last year at 12 noon, the complainant was left at the accused place of residence by her mother as she went for consultation at her school.
“The little girl was playing in the yard with other children and she entered a bedroom whereupon the accused followed her,” said Mbiza as reported by the Chronicle.
He undressed and raped the girl once in the presence of her younger brother.
The matter came to light when the complainant’s younger brother told their father what had happened.
Virtually all the blame for this tragedy ought to be with the parents n adult neighbors. I don’t think this lil yute was born a rapist but his environs nurtured n created the potential, which he has fulfilled smh.
Shock therapy may be needed but lock him away for 44yrs minimum. The lil girl gonna need all the love, support in the world, I’m sending my prayers now.

Oh yes dearie n the parents should serve half of the 50yrs for negligence. I’m also really concerned about the lil yute who witnessed the act…potentially this can royally mess him up mentally without therapy.
