Teen charged with killing peer to face court tomorrow
The 16-year-old girl accused of killing her peer in Hanover and wounding another, is to appear in the Lucea Family Court tomorrow.
The accused has been officially charged with murder and unlawful wounding following the stabbing death of Shanickey Brown, 16, and the injuring of the victim’s teen sister on Sunday.
Shanickey Brown, otherwise called ‘Ribbon’, of Jew Hill, Johnson Town in Hanover was stabbed to death during a dispute at a birthday party in the community.
Her sister, who intervened, was also stabbed during the incident. She was treated and released from hospital.
