Teen killed during alleged confrontation with police
A 17 year old boy was shot and killed during a reported confrontation with the police in Majesty Gardens, St. Andrew Wednesday afternoon.
The police said an illegal gun and a magazine containing four rounds of ammuniton were seized during the incident.
Reports are that shortly before 6 o’clock the police were on patrol in the community.
On Bismark Pathway, the police saw a man and the 17 year-old boy, who has been identified as Christopher Willocks.
The police report that on seeing the team, the man ran.
Christopher reportedly pulled a gun from his waistband and pointed it at the police.
The police responded by shooting him twice.
He was pronounced dead at Kingston Public Hospital.
