A teenager was fatally shot during an alleged confrontation with the police on Marescaux Road in St. Andrew Thursday night.
He has been identified as 18 year-old Renardo Powell of Chancery Lane, St. Andrew.
The incident occurred about 8 o’clock.
The police say an imitation firearm was seized.
The matter has been reported to the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) and the Inspectorate of the Constabulary.
