A 21 year old man is the latest person arrested in St. James in connection with the lottery scam.
A news release from the police says Tajay Singh otherwise called “Coolie Man” was taken into custody yesterday following an operation at his house in Paradise Heights, Norwood.
He has been charged with Possession of Identity Information.
The Lottery Scam Task Force reported that Mr. Singh’s house was searched between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
A cellular phone as well as laptop and tablet computers were analyzed and files with identity information of persons living overseas allegedly found.
