Trinidad & Tobago Started 2018 on a sombre note, with five murders on New Year’s Day.
The first killing took place at 12.15 a.m.
Brandon Khan, also known as Chinee, was gunned down while speaking with friends near his home at Goodwill Street, Enterprise, Chaguanas. Five other men were also wounded in the shooting.
Police said the men were standing on the roadway when a lone gunman walked up to them and opened fire.
Twenty-three year old Khan was shot multiple times about the body.
The injured men were taken to the Chaguanas Health Facility, where Khan died.
