The police have confirmed that six men escaped the Linstead Police Lock-up in St Catherine last night.
Reports are that one of the escapees has since been recaptured.
The Jamaica Constabulary Force’s (JCF) Corporate Communication Unit (CCU) was unable to provide any further details on the matter.
