One of St Ann’s most wanted killed by police
ST ANN, Jamaica — One of St Ann’s most wanted men Devro Vernon, also called Peboo, was shot dead by police in the parish during an early morning operation on Tuesday.
Vernon, 21, was the alleged leader of the Mini Banks Gang in Top Falklands, Mansfield Heights.
He was reportedly shot during a gunfight with the police. The lawmen report that they went into the Parry Town area of the parish about 4:00 am when the shoot-out ensued.
Vernon and a policeman were found suffering from gunshot wounds when shooting subsided.
Both men were taken to the hospital where Vernon was pronounced dead and the policeman admitted.
Meanwhile, the police believe that at least two men who were said to be at the location with Vernon escaped.
The lawmen also reported that a firearm was taken from Vernon.

Wow those morning raid normally don’t end up in the gunman favor, it’s sad that these criminals are so young and life ends with them being killed… I wonder if most of them prepare themselves for death because they know there’s only two ways death or life time in jail….
