MAN SWALLOWED 101 PELLETS OF GANJA

A St James man who was held with 101 pellets of ganja in his stomach is to appear in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on Tuesday.

Thirty-one-year-old Victor Marvin Graham is charged with possession of ganja, dealing in ganja and attempting to export ganja.

Graham was detained by the police on suspicion of breaching the Dangerous Drug Act at the Norman Manley International Airport on Sunday, April 9 while attempting to board a flight to Barbados.

He was taken to hospital where he was x-rayed and several foreign objects were seen in his stomach.

The police say Graham expelled a total of 101 pellets containing ganja.
