Jamaican woman arrested in Bahamian drug bust
A Jamaican woman is one of two persons arrested on Wednesday, following a drug bust in The Bahamas.
It’s reported that a team from the Drug Enforcement Unit went to a house in a community known as Big Pond, where it executed a search warrant and found several large nylon bags containing 390 pounds of marijuana.
A Bahamian man and the Jamaican were taken into custody.
The estimated street value of the drugs is nearly 400,000 Bahamian dollars.
That isn’t good at all.
