“When I came out of the house I heard a sound and I saw my son-in-law run out along with my granddaughter….after that we pulled the things out of the house…,”he said.
He was able to rescue his other great grandson from the house.
The residents reported that while assisting to douse the flames, Francis emerged from behind the house.
His clothes were also on fire.
He was set upon by residents.
His body was later found near the house with chop wounds.
