Comrades and labourites are going at it daggers drawn on social media with the hullabaloo being about politicizing back to school aid. First blood was drawn when a PNP blogger cheekily highlighted a sea of green bags that look like outnumbering all the green trees in a typical Jamaican forest.Evidently and conveniently not posting that there were other multiple colours of bags.
The Labourites pointed out that Lisa Hanna did much worse in recent past because she only gave out orange bags.The Pnp countered that the Jlp raised cain then but turn around now and praise Juliet for essentially doing the same thing. Met in all of this little if any consideration was and is being given to the children. Taunts and jeers of who is pnp/jlp based on their schoolbag are bound to ensue if you know anything about Jamaican culture. Thus what could be the need to give school children orange or green bags?They are just kids for Pete’s sake!
