The Westmoreland police have identified the man who was captured in a video shooting a supermarket employee on August 16.
Oshane Baker, 22, an employee of D&S Supermarket and Haberdashery on Great George Street was killed.
Superintendent Lanford Salmon, head of the Westmoreland police, who was speaking on RJR’s Hotline programme Friday morning, said the police have identified the killer in the video but will not make his identity public at this time.
He did, however, divulge that the man has had previous run-ins with the law.
Superintendent Salmon credited residents for providing crucial information in identifying the shooter.
